What is naturopathy?

The World Health Organisation (WHO) classifies naturopathy as the world’s 3rd traditional medicine.
Naturopathy is a set of care methods designed to strengthen the body’s defences by natural and biological means.
It is the art of staying healthy, taking responsibility for one’s own health and looking after oneself using natural means.
Naturopathy encompasses the individual at every level of his or her being, because it assumes that the human being is a whole.
The naturopath acts as a true health educator, within a framework of primary prevention.
